Zara loved food, but she always ate the same things :pizza and chicken nuggets .

“Why try new food? “

“There is a whole world of flavors !Be brave and try something new .”

The next day ,Grandma gave Zara an old cookbook.

“This book is special”

“Magic in a cookbook? That’s silly!” 

                    WELCOME TO MEXICO!

“You are in Mexico!”.

“I’m Diego. Try this taco!”

“Where am I?”

Zara hesitated, then took a bite. “Wow! It’s soft and delicious!”

WHOOSH! Zara arrived in a small restaurant.

“Welcome to Japan!”.

“I’m Emi. Try sushi!”

Zara picked it up with chopsticks. It fell.

She tried again and took a bite.

“Mmm! I like it!”

WHOOSH! Zara was in a cozy kitchen.

“Fresh pasta is better than boxed pasta,”

Zara helped roll the dough. Later, she tasted the pasta.

“It’s soft and so tasty!”

WHOOSH!Zara landed in a kitchen full of wonderful smells.

“This is India!”. “Try a samosa!”

“Mmm!it’s crunchy and delicious”

WHOOSH!Zara was home. 

She told her family about her journey . That night ,they cooked tacos, sushi ,pasta and samosas.

“Trying a new food is fun!”

Zara learned that food is an adventure!
