Some animals were having fun one
day. they saw Turtle flip-flop over on his
back.
Turtle found it enjoyable doing flip-
flops. There was always somebody to
help him turn over. So, just like previous
instances, he did it with great fervor.
Rabbit came and turned him over. Almost
all his animal friends did this act of
helpfulness. They were willing to help
their friend, Turtle.

So, just like previous instances, he did it

The Bird came. The wise bird thought
of something better. "He must learn to
turn himself over. We will not always be
around when he needs help. Yes, we
won't help him anymore. I'll tell the
others."
So Owl called for a meeting.
Everybody came. Each one brought food
for them to share.

At the meeting, Bird tell them of his
plan for their friend. Others protested but
he explained the importance of being
independent.

"He can learn better if he will do
things on his own. There's a lesson to be
learned when you experience hardships
with tasks you wish to accomplish" added
Rabbit.
That's true, Rabbit, so let's ignore
him when he asks for help. I hope he'll
understand our motive in doing this!
remarked Armadillo.

They eat together and the meeting
is adjourned.

Turtle went on with his traveling
over some rocks one day.
...

"I'll just take a rest," he thought.
"One of my friends will come along to
help me".
Nobody came to rescue him. Turtle
became suspicious.

The Turtle heard Bird. "You must
learned to turn yourself over, Turtle" he
said. "We won't help you anymore, You
must help yourself."
"No, please help me, Bird" cried
Turtle. "Help me, Rabbit!, Help me
Armadillo!, Help me Tiger!, Help me
Rabbit!, Help me please!."
But no animal came to help him.
