
One afternoon, Lucy sat in her favorite chair in the garden, enjoying the warm sunshine. She was having a small snack of cheese and crackers when her little brother, Max, came running outside. "Lucy, look! There’s a baby chick in the yard!" he shouted.



Lucy turned around and saw the tiny chick running around. “It’s so cute! But why is it alone?” she asked.
“I think it got out of the chicken coop,” Max said. “I’ll go get it back, but I’ll need your help!”








Lucy laughed and took another bite of cheese. "Alright, but first, let's have a chat about how we’re going to catch it. I’m not sure how we’re going to chase it without scaring it.”

Max was already up and ready to run. "I’m going to chase it from this side, and you stay over there,” he said.
