IMPORTANCE OF WATER FOR LIVING THINGS
Water is vital for the survival of living things.
From the smallest living organism to the largest living being, water sustains all biological life and all human activities.
Water, our most important source of nutrition for sustaining our lives, is a fundamental element in the functioning of the circulatory and digestive systems, and also fulfills an important role in removing waste and toxic substances from our body.
Water is life. A significant portion of the human organism consists of water. Water is always needed for blood circulation, for the body to remove harmful substances, and for the internal membranes to function without drying out. For this reason, every healthy person needs at least 1.5 liters of water per day, except for excessive sweating and diarrhea.
Water covers 3/4 of our world. 60% of our body consists of water.
Only 2.5% of the world's water is fresh water. 70% of this is found in glaciers, soil, atmosphere and groundwater and is unusable.
THERE IS NOT ENOUGH WATER IN THE WORLD!
The need for water is increasing day by day due to the rapid increase in population and the fixed water resources.
The average annual water consumption per person in the world is around 800 m3. Approximately 20% of the world's population, 1.4 billion people, are deprived of sufficient drinking water, and 2.3 billion people are longing for healthy water.
In addition, the number of countries experiencing water shortages will increase to 54 and the number of people forced to live in these conditions will increase to 3.76 billion by 2050. This will mean that 40% of the world's population, which is expected to be 9.4 billion in 2050, will suffer from water shortages.
Every year, 2 million people, mostly children, die in the world from intestinal infections that occur as a result of inappropriate water use and poor hygienic conditions.
In addition, chronic fluoride deficiency and many similar conditions become very serious problems.

THE
JOURNEY
OF
WATER
BEGINS
High above the earth, where the sky meets the clouds, a tiny drop of water named Aqua was born. Floating gently within a soft, fluffy cloud, Aqua gazed down at the vast world below. Rivers shone like silver ribbons, oceans stretched endlessly, and green forests thrived in the golden sunlight. “I wonder where my journey will take me,” Aqua thought, feeling a small thrill of excitement. She had heard stories from older droplets about the incredible adventures of the water cycle—falling as rain, flowing down rivers, dipping into the ocean, and rising back up into the sky.
Just as she was dreaming of her first adventure, the wind whispered through the clouds, and Aqua felt herself getting heavier. The other droplets around her giggled, knowing what was coming next.
"It's time to begin your journey!" one droplet said.
And before Aqua could ask where she was going, she began to fall—drifting through the sky, twirling with the wind, heading toward the vast world below…

Where will Aqua land? What adventures await her? The journey has just begun…

The Journey of a Little Drop
A long time ago, in the blue sea, there lived a little Drop. She basked in the warm changes of the sun, until suddenly she felt that she was getting bigger. The sun warmed her, and she stopped in a light vapor!
The Drop flew high into the sky and met other drops in the cloud. Together they traveled across the sky until the air became colder. Suddenly, the Drop felt that it was getting heavy again, and she fell like a raindrop.

OH, I FEEL HEAVY
AND I'M FALLING DOWN...!!
The journey of the droplet over the Mediterranean
The tiny drop of water felt light and floaty as it swayed above the Mediterranean until it joined a fluffy white cloud. It rested on it for a while and enjoyed the view.
The wind carried the cloud and the droplet past whitewashed houses on the islands and sparkling blue waters. But gradually, the cloud grew heavy and rain began to fall.

The drop tumbled down and landed in a small stream which flowed through green fields. There were goats grazing around and children playing. 'Hello dear friends!' said the droplet and both nature and the people cheered at it.
Then the stream joined a river that wound its way towards a big city. The drop was amazed at the sights on its way but wished there were more green spaces. The people it met urged it to visit them more often.
'I will, my friend! I will!' it answered to them.

Then the river carried the droplet to the coast. It joined the Aegean Sea feeling free again.
The sun warmed the sea and the drop was lifted into the sky once more, ready for another adventure.
It was so happy to explore the world!

When Aqua looked down from the sky, she saw that some places were lush green and some places were only yellow. She said, I need to see these colorful areas more closely. As she glided through the clouds and approached the layers, it was seen that all the creatures in the green areas were very happy.
When AQUA reached the yellow area from the green area, he saw that the land was cracking due to lack of water. There was no living creature here. He was very upset. He said, I must inform my friends immediately. We must green this barren place.
He went up to the sky again.

Aqua's Colorful Journey
Once upon a time, in a vast blue ocean, there lived a tiny drop of water named Aqua. She was crystal clear and loved to sparkle in the sun. But one day, Aqua became interested in the world beyond the ocean.
When she swam to the shore, she found a small pond filled with golden water. "Oh! What a beautiful color!" she thought, diving inside. She instantly turned golden, shining like the morning sun.

Excited, Aqua continued her journey and saw a river flowing through a green forest. The water there was emerald green, and as soon as she touched it, she turned green too! “Wow! Now I look like the leaves of the trees,” she giggled.
Next, Aqua came across a lake that reflected the pink shades of cherry blossoms. She couldn’t help but dive in. “Oh! Now I’m pink like flowers in spring!” she exclaimed.

Finally, a raindrop from a storm cloud called out to her. "Come with me, and I'll take you back to the ocean." Aqua joined the raindrop, and together they fell from the sky in pure, clear rain.

Returning to the ocean, Aqua smiled. She was gold, green, pink, and purple, but eventually she returned to herself, pure and sparkling. But she carried within her the memories of all the colors she had been.
And from that day on, every time the sun shone over the ocean, Aqua reflected all the colors of her journey in a beautiful rainbow.
