of the Quran to the Prophet

Garangaoo :
Garangaoo is a traditional celebration observed in several countries of the arabian gulf including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. This semiannual event occurs on the 15th night of the Islamic mpnth of Ramadan, marking the mid-point of the fasting month.
Origin of the word "Garangaoo" :
The term "Garangaoo" is believed to derive from the Arabic word "Qarqa'ah", meaning the sound of clicking, possibly referring to the noise of iron pots used to serve sweets during the celebration.
