Traditional Ramadan Food in Qatar
Harees – A traditional dish made from mashed wheat and slow-cooked with meat until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Thareed – A dish consisting of crispy Rgag bread soaked in meat or chicken broth with vegetables, making it a staple of Ramadan meals.
Luqaimat – Deep-fried golden dumplings that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, usually drizzled with date syrup or honey.
Sago (Sagoo) – A sweet dessert made from sago pearls, cooked with sugar, milk, saffron, and rose water.
