THAT'S NOT A HOLE; IT'S A BLACK HOLE!

In the universe, a mystery so bold,  

A black hole lives; what a sight to behold. 

With gravity so strong, it pulls and tugs,

Swallowing light like a giant hug.  

Born from stars that have danced and died,  

They form a vortex where secrets hide!  

In the sky where the bright stars play

Some stars have a journey that doesn't end in any way.  

When they’ve burned their fuel, they can’t shine with might. 

They collapse inward, losing the fight!  

This boom is a supernova, bright as can be

It lights up the cosmos for all eyes to see.  

But left behind is a core, dense and tight,  

What happens next? 

It’s a marvelous fright!

HOW DID THAT BLACK HOLE GET THERE?

The core can collapse, a tiny sphere so small

With gravity so strong, it attracts it all!  

Atoms squish tightly, no space left to roam, 

and just like that, a black hole finds a home!  

So remember, dear friends, when you gaze at the night,

Stars have their endings, both strange and bright.  

From shining giants to a black hole’s space, 

it’s a wondrous adventure in the cosmic race!  

WHO FOUND OUT ABOUT THESE BLACK HOLES?

There’s Einstein, so clever, with his theories of space, 

He dreamed of black holes, mysterious place!  

And Hawking, the genius, with a mind that could soar,  Thought about black holes, oh so much more!

They showed us the secrets of things we can't see, opening doors to our cosmic spree!

ALL THIS TALK, WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE?

You can’t see a black hole, it's hidden from sight. 

It pulls in all the light, making darkness feel right! 

 Around it, there’s gas that spins fast like a swirl, 

 A bright ring of color—oh, what a twirl!  

Like a vacuum in space, it gobbles things whole. 

These mysterious giants always keep us on a roll!
