            Un día, un gato, Felipe, 

quiso dar un paseo en el 

parque con sus amigos. Los 

amigos del gato no eran muy 

simpáticos porque a ellos a no 

les gustaba el gato para la 

persona el gato es, pero el 

gato no tuvo otros amigos.

One day, a cat, Felipe, wanted to go 

for a walk in the park with his 

friends. The cat's friends were not 

nice because they did not like 

Felipe for the person he is, but the 

cat had no other friends.

Cuando Felipe preguntó a sus 

amigos si ellos quisieron ir al 

parque ellos solamente dijeron sí 

porque ellos pensaron que el gato 

era gracioso. Cuando todos los 

gatos llegaron al parque, cado gato 

empezó a hablar de sus miedos. 

Los otros gatos amigos de Felipe 

dijeron que ellos no tenían miedo 

en el mundo.

When Felipe asked his friends if they wanted to go to 

the park they only said yes because they thought that 

the cat was funny. When all of the cats arrived at the 

park, every cat started to talk about their fears. The 

other friends of Felipe said that they had no fears in 

the world. 

El gato no tuvo idea qué pensar porque tenía 

miedo de nadar. Felipe tenía una piscina en su 

patio trasero pero él nunca la usaba por su 

miedo del agua y no quiso que los amigos 

supieran de su miedo, pero el gato oyó a los 

otros gatos hablando sobre nadar en la piscina 

del gato a la casa del gato, también. Felipe 

empezó a tener pánico porque tiene el miedo 

de agua y no tiene idea de cómo nadar.

The cat had no idea what to think because he had 

the fear to swim. Felipe had a pool in his back yard 

but he never used it because of his fear, but the cat 

heard the other cats talking about swimming in 

Felipe's pool at is house, also. Felipe started to 

have panic because he has the fear of water and 

has no idea of how to swim.

El próximo día, el gato y los amigos del gato fueron a su 

casa van para nadar en su piscina. La única hora que él 

había estado en agua fue cuando él era un niño y el gato 

pensó que había un tiburón en el agua. Sin embargo, 

cuando cada persona iba a la casa de Felipe, uno de los 

gatos empujaba al gato en la piscina. El gato no podía 

nadar.

The next day, the cat and his friends went to 

his house to go swim in his pool. The last 

time that he was in the water was when he 

was a kid and the cat thought there was a 

shark in the water. However, when every cat 

went to Felipe's house, one of the cats 

pushed Felipe in the pool.

Finalmente, con la ayuda de los otros gatos, él no 

estaba en la piscina y vida era buena.   Felipe y los otros 

gatos se dieron cuenta de que la amistad es muy 

importante. También, Felipe pensó que el agua no es 

mala ni tiene miedo del agua. Con la ayuda de sus 

amigos, Felipe le gusta el agua y a los otros gatos 

también les gusta el agua. Cada día todos los gatos 

están nadando en la piscina ahora.

Finally, with the help of the other cats, he was not in the 

pool and life was good. Felipe and the other cats realized 

that friendship is very important. Also, Felipe thought 

that the water was not bad and he wasn't afraid of the 

water. With the help of his friends, Felipe likes the water 

and to the other cats they also like the water. Every day 

all of the cats are swimming in the pool now.
