       Once upon a time, in the Sahara desert, where you 

could feel the sand between your toes and the breeze on 

your hair, the brave and bold gila monster, Jessie was 

laying her eggs under the wooden porch of a house.

When Jessie wasn't there, Nick the threatening 

rattlesnake that lived in a hole near the porch of 

a house, watched Jessie and thought about what 

a delicious meal those eggs would make for him.
