There are many farms across Oliveston! Many
of them are found in and around the town of
Michella Commune. Many of them also produce
olives, olive oil, grapes, wine, sheep, goats,
and lanolin oil from sheep.

This is the Dubois family, who own a plantation
farm that grows olives and makes olive oil.

The Dubois family owns a large plantation farm
in northern Michella Commune. They grow
olives to ship to Helena to produce.
They use many machines and have a lot of
workers that help grow and harvest the olives.
If they didn't have these friendly workers, it
would be far too much work for the Dubois
family to maintain.
Their farm is 100 hectacres. This allows them
to make so many olives for the olive oil.

Because their farm is what is called a
commercial farm, they receive money from the
government grow olives. This is known as a
subsidy.
But the Dubois family loves growing olives so
much, they would do it even without the money
from the Oliveston government!

When the delicious olives are ripe, the Dubois
family has many trucks come and take the
freshly picked olives to Helena, where they are
made into oil.
Olivestonians all around the country enjoy
Dubois Family Olive Oil. Some of it is even
shipped out of the country by boat to countries
like Coconut, Erieville, Drayland, the UK, the
US, and other European countries. It is easy to
get olive oil around the world, and it's so tasty
that everyone wants some.
The Dubois family is often worried that there
will not be enough rain or too much rain for
their crops. But by the use of machines, they
don't have to worry as much.
Sometimes the olive trees will get diseases or
insects that eat the olives. Using pesticides and
herbicides, there isn't as much of this.
