The farm in Subland is located in 

farmland, a city that has arable land 

that is perfect for farming on. It is also 

the perfect distance from the main city 

for mixed crop and livestock farming.

The farm size is 449 acres because that 

is the average size of a more developed 

countries farm. Subland wants to be a 

MDC so we have large farms.

The crop that is made is mixed crop 

and livestock, the 4 field system. This 

is because corn and soybeans can be used 

for many products such as cereal and 

corn meal. Also because of the distance 

from the main city. The machinery 

that is going to be used is the typical 

high tech supplies. We use the best 

quality to be the most productive.

The crops that Subland is going to cultivate 

are corn, soybeans, cows, and chickens. 

The corn and soybeans are very popular in 

MDCs and have multiple uses. The cows 

and chickens are also very popular. The 

farm will be subsidized because the farm is 

necessary for the countries success. 

The crops and livestock are transported 

easily because of perishable time, 

transport cost due to weight, and land 

cost. They are transported by large 

trucks due to easy land access in 

Subland and no necessary water to 

cross. 

The target consumers are everyone in 

subland because the crops and 

livestock are pertinent to every house 

hold. We sell to grocery stores who 

sell to everyone. This farm is built for 

the consumption of the whole 

community. 

The potential problems is us using GMOs 

and the community being unhappy. Then 

we may have to switch to organic farming 

to better fit the communities needs. 

The farm falls under the fourth ring, 

mixed crop and livestock. The animals 

are breed to feed other animals and 

some can transport themselves. Thus 

making it easy to have them so far 

away.

The majority of the economy is based off 

agriculture due to many people practicing it 

and us not yet being an MDC we have to 

feed ourselves.
