Once upon a time there was a caveman. His name was 

Toby. Toby lived in the Stone Age. He was a 

vegetarian.

One day Toby went for a walk   in the fields towards 

the forest.

On Toby's walk, however, he came across a tree, and not 

just any tree. This was the one and only "Kindness Tree".

Legend said that if you commit a random act of kindness you 

would get an apple from the tree.

It is believed that the apples give you good luck and are the 

most delicious and tastiest in the land.

"Mmmhhh," Toby thought.

But Toby had never committed any acts of kindness before. 

Everyone feared him. He only cared for himself. This made 

him sad. 

Toby didn't know how to be nice or kind to anyone.

But suddenly an apple fell from the tree andToby decided 

to put it in his pocket for the long way home.

Time passed and Toby was almost home, but Toby had one 

thing on his mind....a random act of kindness!

"How do I do this?" he thought to himself.

"How do I commit a random act of kindness?"

But out of nowhere a bark was heard, and then 

another, and then another. It was beginning to get on 

Toby's nerves.

Toby felt like investigating and so he followed the 

noise as it lead him off course to home.....

It was a pack of coyotes, angry coyotes.

They were circling a scared wolf pup.

Toby didn't know what was happening but he did 

not like it, not one bit...

Toby thought that it might help the scared wolf pup if 

he jumped like a gorilla and roared like a lion to scare 

the coyotes away.

So he leaped into action!

"Leave now!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

If the coyotes didn't like him before, then they 

definitely didn't like him now!
