Once upon a time there was a husband 

and wife named Chris and Emily that 

loved each other very much.   They had 

three wonderful pets but something was 

missing.   Chris and Emily decided that there 

was so much love in their hearts that they 

wanted to share it with a baby.   Yes, a baby 

would complete this happy family.  

Chris and Emily met with an adoption agency and 

explained how much they wanted a baby to love.  

The agency said they would help.   So the couple 

went to work and wrote a letter that described 

the type of parents they would like to become.  

They pasted photos and included stories about 

their lives.  

The couple knew that finding their baby was now 

in God's hands.   They continued to pray as they 

waited...knowing in their hearts that there was a 

birth mother praying for them as well.  

Chris and Emily dreamed of the day they'd be 

able to take a baby to the park to play.   They 

couldn't wait to teach the baby to swim, canoe, and 

ride a bike.
