About 10-20 billion years ago, are universe 

was created! It was called the Big Bang 

which was a point with all matter and 

energy squished together within the point. 

In seconds our world we know today was 

created!

Hi, I am at the Stonehenge which was 

created in 3100-2000 BC. The alignment of 

heel-stone with the rising sun on the 

summer solstice suggested it was used to 

keep track of the solar lunar eclipse cycle 

which you can see on the right.

Hi, I am Aristotle I was around in 385-322 

BC. I was a Greek philosopher. I believed 

that the Earth was round and the Moon 

was closer than the sun because of solar 

eclipses. And also the moon phase was 

because of the movement of Earth. I 

favored the Geocentric model of the 

universe.

Hi Aristotle, I am Aristarchus I was around in 310-230 BC. I figured out how to 

measure the distance from the Earth, Moon and Sun. Also I 

concluded the Sun is bigger than the moon so it revolves around the 

Earth. I also suggested heliocentric model but Nicolas 

Copernicus published it.

Hi, I am Eratosthenes I was 

around in 194 BC! I discovered 

prime numbers and was the 

first to find the circumference 

of the 

Earth.

Hi Eratosthenes! My name is Hipparchus I 

was around in 134 BC! I discovered that 

earth wobbled which was called precession 

and measured the distance between Earth 

to the Moon during the solar eclipse.

Hi I am Claudius Ptolemy I was around in 

90-168 AD. I should that the Sun move 

east to west not west to east and also 

used complicated placement of circles and 

epicycles. And planets appear to reverse 

direction occasionally.

Hi Ptolemy! I am Nicholas Copernicus I was around in 1473-

1543. I was first to publish that the sun is the center of the solar 

system on my deathbed and I named the  

heliocentric model. I believed the sun was center and that 

planets moved around in perfect circles
