The boy begs him to help his brother and he 

will come back right away to clean the 

writer's house to give back his $5 debt.His 

face is so honest that the writer agrees to 

lend him $5 & says he will wait for him in 

half an hour to clean his house..The boy is 

happy to run back to his shed..

The writer has been waiting for a long time

maybe 3 hours...but the boy haven't come 

back.The writer becomes disappointed & 

promises himself that he will never believe 

anybody more...However,a younger boy looks 

like the former one, approaches him & asks him 

what he can do for him to pay $5 debt.

The writer is surprised & asks where the other 

is. The boy answers his brother is dying so he 

can't come here

The writer is shocked and says he wants to

 visit the poor boy at once. The younger boy

 leads him & tells him when his brother was

 running across a road to give him bread, a car crashed him & the 

driver took him back. He fainted for a long time. When he was 

conscious, he urged him to meet the driver to find the way to pay 

debt

When the writer meets him, his face is very 

pale, but he still smiles & says" You see I 

haven't lied to you" The writer kneels next to 

him takes his cold hand & say " Don't worry, 

my poor boy. God bless you. I promise to look 

after your little brother" The boy smiles again 

& close his eyes slowly
