"Big Guy" By

Hi there! I am Gabriel.Today, I want to
talk to you about something. Have you
ever been scared, are you scared of
something or a certain place?

Well today I want to tell you guys that from
now on, you don't have to be scared anymore.
I will tell you all about overcoming your
fears in this book. Come on! Let's go! :)

I will tell about something that
happened to me one time while I was
walking home with my little sister, Ruth.

It was a cold, cold night...
It was just starting to get
windy. Ruth and I were heading
for the big gate that leads to our
house when suddenly...

Gabe, did you see that?

WOAH! YES! what was that?

Me and my sister saw something that
looked scary in our backyard. I got scared but
Ruth was more scared. Since she is only 5 years
old, she hugged me tight and started crying.

I started patting her on her back so that she would
stop crying. Then, I decided to tell her a story...

Well, "Big Guy" is very big and
strong. Whenever I..

Hmm...Where do I start from?

So, where was I? ah! Yes! So whenever
I feel scared and I am by myself, i talk to him.
He listens, and listens, and listens. He never complains
or gets tired of hearing my complaints or stories. I can
talk to him anytime, anywhere. and in any situation
I am in, he will always save me from it.

LIKE A SUPERHERO!!

YES! So, when I was
in 3rd grade, kids started to bully
me and started to make fun of me
because I always talked about "Big
Guy" and how he is always there for
me.

Bullies are mean!

Yeah, they are. But, the meanest of
them all was, Gary. He always comes to me
and tells me that, "Big Guy" doesn't exist and
is just imaginary. He tells me that I should
stop acting like a little girl.
