Ben always wanted to be a superhero and so he started 

training. He worked out with weights, practiced his 

karate and hip hop moves. In just a few months, Ben 

had turned himself into a superhero. All he needed was 

a name.

One night while he was working on his homework 

with his Uncle Danny, a bat flew into Ben's room. Uncle 

Danny screamed and ran out of the room. 

"That's it!" Ben thought. "I will be called BAT-BEN!"

Ben started working on his hair when he received a 

letter under the front door. He picked it up and read 

it. The note said, "I can help you. Meet me at the old 

warehouse." Curious, Ben got ready to meet this 

stranger.

"Welcome. I am with a top secret organization 

called..." "Hi Grampa!" "Hi Ben. Oh well, we might as 

well go inside now. I want to show you the BEN-CAVE 

and all of the cool stuff we have for you to fight crime. 

Follow me." 

"This is the BEN-CAVE. You'll find everything you need 

here. We have a costume, a laser gun, computer, BEN-

MOBILE, and BEN-JET. Good luck". "Awesome!" Ben 

screamed.

The next night, while Ben was reading, he heard 

police sirens outside. "Looks like the city needs me. 

Time to go to work. Get ready, here comes BAT-BEN!"

BAT-BEN started 

chasing after one of 

the most dangerous 

bad guys in the city.

"What was that?" 

said one of the police 

officers. "I'm not 

sure. I think it was a 

giant bat!"   "Um, 

maybe we should cut 

back on our coffee".
