I am Emmet, wow it's 9:40pm, Mum and Dad would want me to be 

asleep by now, but I'm not that tired.

Tip top tip top, damn. I can hear Mum and Dad walking up the 

stairs to check up on me, I quickly jump into bed, pull the 

covers over me, hug my teddy bear Freddy and pretend to be 

asleep. Dad opens the door.

"Emmet is so cute when he sleeps. He's just like a little new 

born baby" Mum says.

Dad laughs.

"Really, a new born baby, wow. Lets go check on Tod and then we 

we can go to bed ourselves." 

Dad yawns, Mum yawns.

I did nothing for three whole hours but then I had an idea. I 

wrote a quick letter saying...

I quickly folded the letter into a paper aeroplane. I then 

opened my window. Sure enough my next door neighbour Ben, my 

best friend from school, had his window open too. I got my 

torch and pointed it at his window, I turned it on and off until 

Ben appeared.

Ben opened the letter and did his I'll-be-back-in-one-second 

look. he scribbled on a piece of paper and threw a paper 

aeroplane at me. I opened it up and it said,

Emmo,

 GO TO BED "NOW"!!!! Benny

I gave him a dirty look and closed my window and went to sleep.

The next morning I went to visit Ben.

KNOCK,KNOCK,KNOCK.

Mrs. Vengie opened the door.

"Hello how are you? It's so good to see you!" asked Mrs. Vengie

"Well, may I please see Benjamin Vengie?". I asked.

"Of course, of course he is up in his bedroom hopefully brushing 

his teeth." said Mrs. Vengie 

I walked up the stairs to Ben's bedroom. I knocked  

then I heard.

"Enter" Ben yelled.

Before I entered his bedroom, I heard two voices. One was Ben's 

and one sounded like a girl. I entered the room and saw a girl 

with soft black wavy hair and bright blue eyes. She looked 

beautiful.  

"Hi, what's your name?" I asked.

"Hi, I'm Lipper, Ashley Lipper but you can call me Ash-Lip or 

Ashley. And you are?" asked the girl.

"I'm Emmet, Ben's best friend from school. I also live next 

door. Yo Ben talk to me..."

"Oh yeah, you might not know yet but last night at 12:41am 

someone broke in and stole Ben..." started Ashley.

"But Ben is standing right here." I asked.

"No that is the robot one of him, we need to send 

him to school today. Sorry, I'm a part of the 

T.E.A.O.M.R and I have no idea what that means. All I 

know is that the name of the man who stole Ben, was 

Rover. Do not tell anybody, please do not tell Mrs and 

Mr. Vengie. I am way older than you both. I am 20 so I 

will pretend to be your Aunty Lenny, got it? I will pick you 

up from school. Sit down at the back of the classroom, he has 

a computer on his back so write what you want him to say and he 

will say it. Ok, lets get the show on the road!!" said Ashley

We had to climb out of the window because Mrs. Vengie did not 

know that Ashley was here. It was so hard to get fake Ben 

through the window.

When we got to school, Ashley gave me something to put in my 

pocket. It was a smooth glowing rock so that fake Ben would 

follow me, Ben would detect it.

"Have a good day" yelled Ashley.

In class, Miss Likut instructed us to go outside. We all 

scrambled outside and then I could not find fake Ben within the 

big crowd of people, then I spotted him running away from me. I 

ran to keep up with him. I found him at Principal Rover's office 

door. Fake Ben was knocking on the door,but I was not making him  

do that so someone must of hacked into fake Ben! 

Fake Ben opened the door and went into the corner of the room 

where there was a cupboard. Fake Ben went to open it. We both 

got in and I found a big square hole in the floor which looked 

like someone had used a chainsaw to cut it. Ben jumped in the 

hole so I followed him and as I was falling I noticed it was 

really dark. We landed on a trampoline. I kept bouncing but Ben 

quickly ran away into the arms of Ashley.

"Ashley, what are you doing here?" I yelled.
