This is my great, great 

grandpa Carle.

He raised hunting dogs and 

built houses.   We don't know 

where he is buried.   My dad 

and his brother would go to 

their house and Blanch 

would make them 

homemade donuts.

He lost his arm 

in a threshing 

machine.   She 

sewed pretty 

Easter dress 

and had a 

beautiful 

garden.

grandpa Tamburo.

He was a farmer.  

He died when he 

was 86 from falling 

down the stairs.  

She took care of my 

Poppy most days.  

They would play at 

the cemetery 

because they didn't 

have a yard.   She 

taught them Italian.

This is my great, great grandpa 

Tamburro.   

He was born in Italy.   He 

always smoked a pipe and only 

had two teeth.   They lived in 

the Bronx.   They had a big 

house with a big garden in the 

backyard.

Tamburro.

 He had seven brothers 

and sisters.   He took my 

Poppy to see the 

Yankee's and worked on 

a garbage truck.   She 

was one of 13 kids.   She 

was a sewing machine 

operator and made 10¢ 

per dress.

Grandma and Grandpa 

Carle. 

She was a good baker. 

She made apple pie 

and apple sauce cake. 

Ralph was a good 

mechanic and repaired 

airplanes in World War 

II. 

This is my 

Poppy. 

He was born 

March 3, 1945.  

He taught me 

how to drive a 

riding lawn 

mower.   He 

worked in a 

prison for 

juveniles.   I 

like to do stuff 

in the garden 

with him and 

play in the 

land by their 

house.    

This is my 

Nanny.

She was born 

September 2, 

1948. She 

was a nurse.  

She makes 

applesauce 

cake with me 

when she 

visits.   When I 

was in 3rd 

grade I spent 

a week in 

Florida with 

them. 

This is my dad.

He was born 

September 22, 1975. 

He has one brother 

named Frankie. They 

grew up in Claverack, 

New York. We go 

hunting in Colorado 

and Nebraska. In the 

summer we go to 

Water World. 

I was born 

April 1, 2005. 

I like to play 

with my dad. 

I go to the 

park with him 

and we go 

hunting.   We 

also go to the 

pool.

I like baseball, 

football and 

math. I like to 

spend time 

with my mom. 

My mom 

taught me 

how to pitch in 

baseball.
