SUMMER
Charlie the boy, who was bored of his toys,
decided to go out and play.
But what to do, he hardly knew,
this morning, this wonderful Summer day?
As he stepped outside, to Charlies surprise
the Forest gave him a clue;
Whenever in doubt, no reason to pout,
Here is what you do:

With just a simple wisp of a gentle breeze,
You can lay and watch my dancing leaves.
You can find your spirit on days like these,
When you hear a song within my trees.
Swim in my lakes, my rivers and streams.
Sleep on my stones,
where sunlight beams.
Like resting by a fire, or so it seems,
discover a freedom,
only lived in your dreams.

As our light in the sky begins to fall,
and the tired sun bids farewell to us all,
Nocturnal friends awaken to crawl,
to chant their lullabies
and romantic calls.

Under the stars you can prance and play.
By the moonlit paths,
you can find your way.
I will forever be here,
should you leave or stay.
I'm here for you always,
always and every day!

AUTUMN
Charlie the boy, who was bored of his toys
decided to go out and play.
But what to do, he hardly knew,
this morning, this fine Fall day?
With no adventure in sight, but to Charlies delight,
the Forest had a grand idea;
Your playground's all set, so don't go and fret.
There's plenty of fun around here!
Catch my leaves falling, they're all good luck.
Or watch them float by,down near my brook.
Your line in the water, your pole it has shook,
and that's when you'll find a fish on your hook!

Bring out your journal, and write it all down.
What you have heard, the things you have found.
How my forest was quiet, with only the sound
of all my lovely animals from far and around.
Earlier and earlier, the sun goes to bed.
Look to my skies, a much deeper red.
A wonderful memory is just up ahead.
Lay beneath the stars, as they start to spread.
There's more to do, more to admire.
So much to learn, so much to acquire.
Like the stories you share, with family, by the fire.
Cherish these moments, with your heart entire.
