Tootle the slave worked for a cruel man in a 

place called Caspia.

His master made him work a lot.

He fed the animals , carried heavy loads and 

worked on the farm as well as at home. 

One day , Tootle`s master punished 

him for not adding enough salt to his 

soup. He was sent to bed without any 

supper.Tootle refused to suffer this 

way.He decided to run away.

That night , tootle patiently waited for his master to fall 

asleep.   As soon as he heard his master snores, he tip 

- toed through the house , crept out of the back door 

and ran out as fast as he could.

He did not stop to look behind him , he 

continued 

running , away from the villages and into a 

jungle.

Tootle was tired , so he stopped running and 

looked for a place to rest. he found a cave an lie 

down there. he was about to fall asleep when he 

heard a big roar behind him   ............ROAR !ROAR!
