Once upon a Wednesday, a poor
woodcutter named John Key lived in a small
cottage in the Redwoods with his two
children, Max and Key. Their
step-mother Birtha, was always horrible to
the two kids and the woodcutter.

One night while the children were
meant to be asleep, Birtha sat John
down to talk. "We need to get rid
of those stupid kids," Birtha
exclaimed. "We simply just don't
have enough food to feed our huge
family".

After managing to get John to
listen, she came up with a plan for
John to take the kids far into the
redwoods. Leave, and let them
freeze to death.

Max and Key were woken up at
dawn. As soon as they were dressed,
their horrible step-mother shoved them
out the door with only a pie each.

What Birtha didn't know was that
throughout the time the kids and
their Dad were walking, Max was
dropping small parts of his pie
along the trail so they could find
their way home.

As night fell, Max and key
began following the first few pieces
of pie, until it came to an
unsettling stop. "We're lost!" yelled
key. "No we're not. We'll find
our way home. I promise," Max
replied calmly.

Max and key had been walking
through the redwoods for hours,
when suddenly they came upon a
very large cottage which happened
to be made out of cake and candy.
As they began stuffing their faces
with candy, the ground began to
shake. They heard the door squeak
as it opened.

Out walked a huge man. He said
his name is Mr.will "Come on
in!" he said nicely. The kids quickly
followed the huge man inside.
