"Dad, about Sidney Crosby. I have homework on him, and it's due tomorrow." said Sidney Crossbar "Can you help me with it ?" "Sure" said Dad "You go and get it and I'll turn on my brain". "Okay Dad" replied Sidney.

"Well" said Dad "Let me find the page first. There!"

Sidney Crosby was born on August 7, 1987 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. When he was two, he was shooting pucks at the family dryer. Then, at the age of three, Sidney started learning how to skate on ice.

At the age of six, Crosby was accepted into the "Timbits." He enjoyed hockey so much he would dream about being in the NHL every night.

"Wow" Sidney probably proclaimed as he read the paper.

He was in there!

On July 30, 2005 Crosby was told that he was drafted to the Pittsburgh Penguins. His dreams were finally becoming real!

However, Crosby's dreams would seem like they are over. He is in mid game facing off against Boston. He is near the net, a teammate passes to Crosby but hits him in the face, breaking his jaw.
