Well let me first begin by telling you what I am. Myosin is a fibrous protein that helps in the process of muscle contractions! And I look something like this!

Well I have a crush, on this boy name actin and I would want nothing more but to be with him, but this girl keeps getting between me and him. Her name is Tropomyosin.

And there she is Tropomyosin, the protein that decides when a muscle contracts or doesn't contract.

In reality this is what the setting would look like; Myosin hopelessly trying to reach Actin, who is guarded by Tropomyosin.

My best friends dislike Tropomyosin just as much as I do, so they will help me in my attempt to unite with actin and you know... "Contract"! My best friends are better known as ATP and Calcium.
