Once upon a time all the birds were invited to a feast in the sky.

2
The birds were very excited for the feast and spent the day preparing themselves for it.

3
There was a tortoise who saw the birds preparing the feast and was eager to find a way to get the sky so he could receive from food.

I have not eaten a good meal for two moons!
4
The tortoise went to the birds and asked if he was allowed to go with them. But the birds were hesitant. The tortoise convinced the birds he has changed and all the birds then agreed he has.

You are cunning and ungrateful!
You do not know me. I am a changed man!
5

The birds granted the tortoise feathers, which made him two wings.

6

The tortoise told the birds that they must take a new name for a great feast like this. The birds had never heard of this custom but they knew the tortoise was a widely traveled man who knew customs of different people.
I will be called All of you.
7

The party arrived in the sky and the tortoise thanked them for their invitation. His speech was so good that the birds were very happy they invited him. The hosts then took him as king of all the birds.

8

Once all of the food was served the tortoise asked the host who the food was served for. The host replied, "all of you". Tortoise turned to the birds and said, "remember my name is All of you. The custom is to serve the spokesman first and the others later."
