Once upon a time all birds were invited to a big feast in the sky.

The birds were so excited for the feast all they did for the rest of the day, they drew patterns on themselves with red wood.

The tortoise soon realized what all the commotion up in the sky was for... a feast he thought.
I am just oh so hungry! I have not eaten in almost two months... How could I get up there?

The tortoise knew the only solution was to ask the birds for help.

The birds did not even think twice before deciding they did not want to help the tortoise.
You are cunning and ungrateful we know you will be mischievous!

The tortoise begged for forgiveness of his past and assured the birds he would be on his best behavior.
Fine, we will each give you a feather. With these you can make two wings.

The birds and the tortoise were all able to fly to the feast together.

While everyone was at the feast the tortoise gave a speech & gave everyone nick names.
