What I would do to go back to those days...
The sky was baby blue, the sun was cheerfully yellow, and the air felt like warm cookies straight out of the oven. School was out and my best friend, Erika, and I did not have a care in the world. Our main priority was imagining all day long until Erika’s mom arrived to pick her up from my house, where my mom babysat her.

The weeping willow tree in my backyard became much more than just a tree to us. This tall, flowing, green object became our house with its various branches being our bedrooms. In order to reach our individual destinations of the perfect bedroom we would have to climb the rough bark, higher and higher, until satisfied with our locations.
We would also use the graceful, jade colored leaves to make jewelry for ourselves. We would tear off a strand as long as necessary and tie the ends together in order to create bracelets, necklaces, headbands, and rings.
