Mrs. Smith told the class to write an essay about their lives. Sandra had no idea what to write so she started to think about her life.
2
Her mom is the most amazing woman she had ever met. She takes care of everything Sandra, her little brother, and her dad could ever need.
3
She is a stay at home mom, so her job is to cook, clean, and raise children. And she was good at it. Even though she is only 26 she is expecting her third child, a little brother for Sandra.
4
A lot of women had kids around the same time her mom did, after her dad came home from the war. It seemed like every woman she knew was a mom. The TV called this a baby boom.
5
When she was one Sandra moved to Florida to follow her dads job. She loves it because its sunny and warm in the sunbelt states because they get a lot of direct sunlight. Her mom told her a lot of people did the same thing.
6
Here she could play outside all the time and play with a lot of her friends. Her family loved to go on picnics to the beach.
7
Sandra lived in a house just like all of her friends', in a Levittown that was built just before she was born. Her dad said it was for all of the returning soldiers and new married couples. She liked the suburbia.
8
Her dad knew a lot about everything, he worked in a big office building in the city. He always wore black suits and looked very important, like his friends.
9
He said before Sandra was born he was a blue collar worker and worked in a factory building cars, but he liked selling them more so he moved the family to Florida so he could do white collar work.
