Daleko, odakle dolaze hladni vjetrovi, gdje su visoke gore, u davna vremena živjeli su naši pradjedovi. U gorju Karpati. Čuli su kako postoje topli krajevi, pored valova plavoga mora te su krenili na put.
From far away, from where the cold winds blow, where mountains are high, long time ago lived our great-grandparents. In the mountain of Karpati. They heard about some warm places near the waves of the blue sea, so they went on a journey.

Vodila su ih petorica braće i dvije sestre. Najstariji i najjači se zvao Hrvat. Ostali su bili: Klukas, Lobel, Muhlo i Kosjenc, a sestre Tuga i Buga.
Five brothers and two sisters were their guides. The oldest and strongest brother's name was Hrvat. The others' names were: Klukas, Lobel, Muhlo and Kosjenc and the sisters' names were Tuga and Buga.

Hrvat je putem branio svoj narod, a Tuga uveseljavala ljude pjesmom. Imala je dugu zlatnu kosu i crne oči, bila je slična vili. Uvijek je ljudima činila dobro.
On the way, Hrvat was defending his people, and Tuga's singing made people happy. She had long golden hair and black eyes. She was similar to a fairy, always giving her best to everyone.

Dvanaest plemena stiglo je napokon do mora, do nove domovine. Kada su je podijelili, Tuga je dobila lijep kraj, ravnicu ispod Mosora - Poljica. Ona tu sagradi svoje dvore, a oko nje plemići sagradiše palače. Tako je nastao gradić Tugini Dvori (danas se zove Tugari).
Twelve tribes finally made it to the sea and their new homeland. When they split it, Tuga got a nice flat area under Mosor- Poljic. That's where she built her palace and all the nobelmen built theirs around hers. That's how the small town of Tugini Dvori, today known as Tugari, was founded.
