Flicker flicker flicker. The candles lit up the night as Megan slowly walked towards the iron gates of the graveyard.
Megan and the rest of her family were sitting down waiting for her grandma´s funeral to start.

I wonder how long the funeral is? She thought. In front Megan she noticed that the tired moon´s glow was leaning on the mossy tombstones.
As she looked beside her fog rolled over the graves making them breathe, with anticipation.

After the funeral was over Megan stayed back at her grandmothers grave a little longer as her knees felt the poky grass beneath her.
To her surprise, the leaves on a colossal tree went SWOOSH. Probably just a squirrel she thought to herself as she shrugged her shoulders.

I should go Megan weeped out loud. Suddenly, a strange sound went THUMP THUMP THUMP behind her. Megan turned around like a rocket. ¨What was that?¨ She shouted. Megan's palms began to get sweaty.
She started walking out again. Finally, Megan got to the iron gates but before she could open the gate.

Without warning she saw a colossal black shadow behind her. Megan's hair stood up at the back of her neck. As she turned around she saw the figure. It glowered at her.
Squinting closer Megan realized that it's dark indented eyes followed her everywhere. Just looking at it's long eyebrows she knew that it wasn't friendly.

When she glared at it's nose it was as bony as the knuckles on an elderly man. Wrapped around it's body was gushy sinew that carved out screaming faces. It's gray finger nails clutched around it's craggy cane.
I THINK IT'S AN EVIL SPIRIT! Megan roared. I'm in trouble she thought to herself.
