Once upon a time, there lived a population of anteaters in a forest who enjoyed eating ants. A population is a group of animals living together.

These anteaters were the native species of the forest. They had lived in the forest eating ants for as long as their habitat existed.

They lived happily in equilibrium because they all had enough food to eat . Their favorite food are ants.

All the animals had enough room to live and enough places to live and sleep without being over crowded.

All of the anteaters live in woodlands biome. This is the only home that they know and they love and care for their habitat.

Because of evolution, the anteaters have adapted to efficiency find and eat ants. Their natural predators are big cats such as jaguars.

The ecosystem stayed stable because the anteaters ate the ants, and the jaguars ate the anteaters.

And the jaguars were happy to eat the anteaters, the anteaters were happy to eat the ants. The ants eat the plants in the habitat.

Then everything changed when the aliens came down.

At first they lived together peacefully but eventually the aliens took up too much room.

The aliens had a huge appetite. Some of them ate the anteaters but most of them ate the ants. The aliens were invading their anteater's habitat.

The aliens loved to eat the ants. The ants were so nutritious and helped the aliens live longer. The aliens were more efficient than anteaters in finding and eating the ants.
