Sammy was a happy dog who loved to go on adventures. He had a lot of friends and was really close with his mom, Suzie and his dad, Steve.
Sammy loved to jump, he loved to chase his tail, he loved to fetch sticks and bury secret treasures.

There was something about Sammy that even his mom and dad did not know about.
A secret that Sammy was afraid to let his parents or even his friends know about...

Sammys secret was that he was afraid of going to the Vet's office.
The Vet's office was scary and filled with machines that he did not know about, and the worst part was that he just heard his mom make a visit for him to see the Vet!

Sammy tried to think of ways to get out of seeing the Vet, he growled at his parents but that did not seem to help.
He tried to stay in his room away from his friends, but that just made him feel lonely and more scared.

Finally, Sammy's mom Suzie came into his room and told Sammy she noticed something was wrong. She told Sammy how much she loved him and told him that he could tell her whatever was bothering him.
Sammy decided to tell his mom how scared he was really feeling.
