The Carthage soldiers began with the city of Saguntum. The demolished the roman city. The fierce battle led to 400,000 casualties and eventually was settled with a military draw. A peace treaty was signed and that concluded the first battle between the Carthage and the Roman army. The treaty limited Carthage to only use 100 ship, but this however did not stop their reign.

Carthage then turned to overcome Spain to seek their silver mines. Hannibals Father Hamilcar Barca leads this attack and at the age of nine Hannibal watches on and learns to fight, he was practically born in war and blood. At age 19 Hannibals father dies in war only for Hannibal to swear an oath to burn Rome to the ground.

Hannibal now age 26 is now leader of Carthage, he leads a army of 50,000 men straight to Italy to fight. But Rome somehow found out about their plans and launched a counter attack, they are leaded into battle by Scipio. Hannibal avoided the attack and north into the alps. The crossing of the alps is difficult but luckily a Gaulic village is willing to help, but they betray him with a deadly ambush by the rome.

Hannibal slaughters the Gauls and finally makes his way out of the alps. He arrives in Italy with only 2 thirds of his original army and only 1 elephant which he rides. But he replenishes his army with help from another Gaulish village. They met a Roman army and it turns into a battle between 40,000 men and 40,000 men. thousands of Romans are slain including their general so they replace him. The Romans are ambushed and slaughtered only 10,000 Romans survived.

20,000 Roman men are then given the mission, annihilate Hannibal. The Romans split leaving a path for the Carthaginians so they can ambush them. But Hannibal slips through and burns down the landscape right next to a Roman allied town. Hannibal taunts the roman legion hidden in this allied town and they take the bait. The Roman army clashes with the Carthaginian army. The army flees and the Romans think they won but it's an ambush. The Roman army is destroyed and are reduced to bones and blood. 3 quarters of the Roman army dies which is 15, 000 and only 1500 Carthaginians die.
