Cocker spaniels are great dogs! They are friendly, smart, loyal, and love to play. These dogs are beloved by many in our culture.

There are two types of cocker spaniels. The American cocker spaniel (pictured left) and the British cocker spaniel (pictured right). They are very similar, but have some different features (the british cocker spaniels are a bit bigger and have longer snouts).

Cocker spaniels are sporting dogs, and were bred to hunt!
