The Boston Massacre happened on March 5, 1770.
A group of youths and dockworker started trading
insults in front of the custom house. A fight happened
and soldiers fired. Four laborers died, including Crispus
Attucks.
















Parliament kept the tea tax to show
that they still had the right to tax the
colonists.It led to the Boston Tea
Party.In 1773 parliament passed the
Tea Act. Tea was popular, so protests
against the Tea Act took place.


















































The Sons of Liberty organized what came to
be the "Boston Tea party", in Boston.On
December 16, 1773, a group of men
disguised as Native Americans boarded 3 tea
ships, and destroyed 342 chests of tea. They
believed that Britain would see how strongly
colonists opposed taxation without
representation.
