My name is "Bumble" i am a big shaggy dog who loves to have fun. My favorite food is a big fat bone.






This is me as a cake!!




Grandma Dorothy and Granddaughter Emilie with the winning ticket.

Julie makes it look so easy by the photograph. She has made a sponge cake and shaped it into a dog shape and then covered him in fondant icing and rolled with her finger every piece of fur by hand. You just need sponge, Jam, Buttercream and lots of patience.



All of these dogs are real cakes you can eat!










Estée from the Uk with zingy Cupcakes..
175g of Golden Caster Sugar, 175g softened unsalted butter, Finely grated zest of 1 lemon, Finely grated zest of 1 orange ,3 large eggs ,175g self-raising flour
For the icing: 200g softened butter, 400g icing sugar,sifted, Natural food colouring
Finely grated zest and juice of one small orange OR lemon, Edible decorations.


Method: Zingy CupCakes.
Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan/Gas 4, Place 12 muffin cases into a muffin pan.
Beat the butter, sugar, lemon and orange zest until it is light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time with a spoonful of the flour and gently mix.
Then mix in the remainder of the flour. Spoon the mixture into the 12 muffin cases and place in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until the cakes have risen and are lightly golden in colour.
Remove them from the muffin pan and leave them to cool on a wire rack.
While the cakes are cooling you can make the buttercream icing by beating together the butter, icing sugar and orange or lemon zest and a splash of either orange or lemon juice.
Estée added natural food colouring to give a brighter colour to the icing and add your choice of decorations.
We really like these cakes as they are lovely and zingy..










Tyler's yummy Fish Risotto.
Made in England.
Ingredients. Fish Risotto.
Leeks, mixed vegetables, Fish selection of your choice. (prawns are yummy.), Risotto Rice,
1 x fish stock cube.
Method.
Heat a table spoon of oil in a pan.
Add mix veg and leeks for 5 minutes.
Then add fish selection, until golden.
Add risotto rice and stir fry until coated in the oils.
Put fish stock cube in a jug and add boiling water.
Gradually add your boiling water to the rice, fish and vegetables.
Continue to add until the rice has absorbed all the juice and is fat and sticky.
When the rice is cooked to your satisfaction, season to taste and serve with crusty bread and a large wine for mummy 😉

Marina from Australia Chickpea Patties.
Very tasty.
Marina's Island Girl Chickpea Patties.
Ingredients: 1 can chickpeas, drained.
1 chopped green onion, 1 tsp grated ginger,
1/2 small chopped Chile or 2 seasoning peppers
A handful of chopped fresh basil or other herbs.
1/2 cup of cracker crumbs, 1 tsp lime juice,
1/2 tsp salt, 2 tbp coconut oil +2 more to fry.
Method: Put everything except for the frying oil in a food processor or blender. Whizz it up until it sticks together. Scoop it out. The fun bit is rolling golf balls of it in your hands (you can sneak raw bits to nibble) and then flatten them into patties. With your mums help, fry them in coconut oil for about 4 or 5 minutes each side. A very tasty snack, hot or cold, served with yogurt and spicy tomato sauce.
PS: If you make them bigger, they are good burgers too!

Hannah and Katie from Wales with their Chicken and Chorizo.
Chicken and Chorizo Dish.
Ingredients:
4 large chicken breasts, 150g thinly sliced chorizo,1 bunch spring onions
325g baby plum tomatoes,180g baby spinach leaves, 1 tin chopped tomato
2 large tablespoons tomato ketchup, Coconut oil,Mozzarella to finish..
Method:
Chop chicken breasts into bite sized chunks and separate all the slices of chorizo
Wash spinach, tomatoes and onions then chop tomato and onions.
Fry chicken in a hot pan with a small amount of coconut oil until turning brown
Add onions and fry until soft
Add chorizo, can of tomatoes, fresh tomatoes and tomato ketchup
Bring to the boil then simmer for 20 -25 minutes until chicken is cooked through
Add spinach 5 minutes before the end of cooking
Serve with brown rice and mozzarella sprinkled on top.

Delicious Chicken and Chorizo.









Livia from Devon with her tasty Sunshine Salad.
Ingredients. Sunshine Salad.
Avocado,
Tin of Sweetcorn,
Cooked King prawns,
Spring onions,
White/red cabbage,
Tomatoes,
Cucumber, Radishes, Red pepper,
Mayonnaise, Tomato paste,
Lemon juice, Black Pepper,
And any other ingredient your child may choose to add.,
Method for Sunshine Salad:
Finley chop the cabbage and place in a mixing bowl,peel and cut the avocado into 1/2 inch chunks add to bowl.
Slice tomatoes, red pepper and cucumber into 1/2 inch chunks add to bowl
Finely slice Spring onions and radishes and add those to the bowl and sprinkle in your sunshine! {sweetcorn.}
In a separate bowl mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of tomato paste (or ketchup!), teaspoon of lemon juice and black pepper and mix together.
Add this sauce to your mixing bowl of salad vegetables and fold in gently, add your prawns and fold until everything is coated in sauce and serve with granary bread and butter.





This is cheeky Oliver from England making his favourite Spaghetti Bolognaise.

Ingredients. Spaghetti Bolognaise.
1 x onion chopped a lot,
some garlic smashed up,
1 x tin of chopped tomatoes,
Olive oil to fry mince, mixed herbs,
1 x packet of beef mince, Squeeze of Tomato Sauce,
Spaghetti long thin pasta.
Method:
Chop onions in oil for q few minute,then add mince and cook till brown. Add tin of tomatoes ,herbs, salt and pepper and a splash of Mummy's red wine but not too much as she likes to drink it.
Cook Pasta,serve and devour. Yummy ;o)

Jessica from Devon with tasty Sweet and Sour Chicken.
Ingredients; Sweet and Sour Chicken.
1 x tablespoon of oil, 2 x skinless chicken breast fillets cut in chunks.
1 x garlic clove crushed, 1 x red pepper seeded and cut into thin strips.
1 x carrot finely cut, 1 x small tin bamboo shoots, {optional}
1 x small tin pineapple pieces, big squirt of tomato sauce.
1 x tablespoon of vinegar {any type} 2 x tablespoons of sugar.
Method:
Fry the onions,garlic,red pepper,carrot on med heat for one minute then turn down the heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 6 mins.
Stir in the pineapple,tomato ketchup,vinegar and sugar and bamboo shoots if you use them and bring to the boil.
While stirring continuously if the sauce is too thick add some pineapple juice.
Simmer for 10 mins and serve with rice..






Alex and Beth from Devon with their favourite
Slurpy Spaghetti.
Ingredients; Slurpy Spaghetti.
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 750 gram of best quality minced beef
- 2 medium size onions chopped or diced
- 4 to 5 slices of back bacon chopped or diced
- 2 tins of chopped Tomatoes
- 4 cloves of Garlic
- I teaspoon of Marjoram
- 1 teaspoon of Tarragon
- 2 teaspoon of Oregano
- I tablespoon of plain flour
- 1 Beef stock cube
- 1 desert spoon of tomato purée
- 1 desert spoon of tomato sauce (optional)

Method: Slurpy Spaghetti.
1. In a large saucepan fry off the minced beef until cooked through in olive oil.
2. In a separate saucepan fry the onions and bacon until cooked through.
3. Strain off any fat from the minced beef and then add the 1 tablespoon of plain flour to give body to the meat.
4. Now Add the bacon and onions to the minced beef and Garlic cloves- and stir thoroughly.
5. Add the chopped tomato and stir through thoroughly.
6. While on a low heat add the Oregano Marjoram and Tarragon. Stir through thoroughly and crumble the stock cube,add tomato puree and stir again.
7.. If extra tomato flavor needed add the optional tom sauce, when stirred through to a nice consistency remove and put into an oven pot./ add a small cup of water before putting in oven.
8. Put in oven on medium heat 150c for 45 mins. Cook spaghetti for 20 mins...Serve Yum yum....
Indie with her yummy Breakfast Smoothie.


Ingredients: Carrots, Raspberries, Strawberries, Banana, Ice Cubes, Water.
Method: Mix together in the blender and enjoy my tasty smoothie..



Isabelle's Crab Nachos.
Cooked in Somerset.
Ingredients: Crab Nachos.
,350g Fresh white Crab meat.
Juice of 2 limes,
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
I tablespoon of Coriander seeds,lightly crushed.
2 tablespoons of virgin olive oil.
1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup.
Dash of Tabasco.
1 small red onion finely chopped.
Half a small cucumber finely chopped.
2 firm ripe tomatoes skinned,deseeded and chopped.
1 tin of 75g sweetcorn drained well.
Tortilla chips.
25g mature cheddar..







Method: Crab Nachos.
1... As a precaution sift through the crab meat to make sure that there is no hidden cartilage or shell.
Place in bowl and pour over lime juice and season with salt.
Cover with clingfilm and refrigerate for one hour.
2... Preheat oven to 200, 400f or gas 6 or preheat grill.
Mix together the coriander seeds,olive oil,ketchup,Tabasco,red onion,tomato,cucumber and sweet corn.
3... Stir in the crab meat {drained of any juice} season to taste.
4...Carefully spoon the crab meat onto the tortilla chips and place on a baking tray.Sprinkle with grated cheese and then bake in the oven or place under the grill for 3 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
Toby and Poppy from the UK with their yummy Macaroni Cheese.




Ingredients: Macaroni Cheese.
300g Macaroni.
2 tablespoons of butter.
3 tablespoons plain flour.
500mls milk
100g chopped Brie.
100g chopped up cheddar.
Freshly ground pepper.
100g grated Parmesan.

Method. Macaroni Cheese.
In a large saucepan of water boil 300g of Macaroni for 8-10 minutes. Drain & tip into oven proof serving dish.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a sauce pan & mix in 3 tablespoons of plain flour to form a thick paste - keep stirring on the heat to keep from sticking for 2 minutes. Gradually stir in 500 mls of milk until it becomes a thick sauce on the brink of boiling.
Take off heat & stir in 100g of chopped up Brie & 100g of grated mature cheddar cheese. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste & pour on to the cooked pasta. Sprinkle on the 100g of grated Parmesan cheese.
Cook under a hot grill for 10 minutes until a brown & crispy crust has formed on the top. Serve on its own for maximum enjoyment with no enforced vegetables!!












Jazmine from London with healthy Rainbow Snacks.
Ingredients; Healthy Rainbow Snacks.
1 pound strawberries (fresh fruit -, apricots, blueberries, peaches, plums are all good chopped.
1 big cup oats,
4 tablespoons water (or fruit juice)
1 tablespoon honey,
Cup of Raisins,
Zest of Lemon.
Method;
Mix everything in a bowl and place in loaf tin, bake in a preheated oven on a medium heat for 20 mins.










Very Tasty.





Allison from America with her delicious Strawberry and Banana Smoothie.
Ingredients: Strawberry,Banana Smoothies.
2 or 3 ripe bananas,
a cup of coarsely chopped strawberries,
a cup of vanilla yogurt,
2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup,
1/4 cup of chocolate chip and 1/4 cup of milk.
Method:
Mix all together in a blender until smooth.
Amounts of ingredients may depend on taste.
Allison likes extra chocolate syrup.😊.
Pour into chilled glass and enjoy.








Lily from the UK with scrummy homemade Pizza.


For the Base: Homemade Pizza.
250g bread flour, 250g plain or wholewheat flour
1 tsp dried yeast, 1 tsp salt,
300ml luke warm water,1 tbsp olive oil.
Tomato Sauce:
200ml passatta
1 small onion finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
2 tsp dried oregano, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 2 tbsp olive oil
Pinch of sugar, Salt and pepper to taste
Toppings:
Mozzarella or other cheese
Selection of veggies and/or cooked meat.
Method for homemade pizza.
For the bread base, mix all of the dried ingredients together. Mix the oil with the water and add to the dry mix gradually, stirring with a knife until if forms a loose dough. Then kneed on a floured surface for around 5 minutes until stretchy. Place into a lightly greased bowl, cover with cling film and a tea towel and leave to rise in a warm place for a couple of hours or until the dough is risen, tip dough will also rise in a fridge.
Knock back the dough before rolling or hand stretching it and place on a lightly greased tin.
The dough will make 1 large thick crust or 2 thin crust pizzas.
For the tomato sauce
Gently fry the onions and garlic in the oil until soft. Add the pasta, tomato paste and dry ingredients then simmer until the sauce is reduced and thickens. Pour over the dough and add cheese and your choice of toppings, sprinkle with dried oregano and cook on a medium heat until the cheese is bubbling and browning and the base lifts away from the tin.






Charlotte,Martha,Lois and Joe from Devon with homemade gluten free fish fingers.






Ingredients: Gluten Free Fish Fingers.
For the batter
1 egg, breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons of flour, Dash of milk
1 large fillet of cod loin cut into fingers
Vegetable oil to shallow fry
Method:
Make the batter using the egg, flour and milk and place in a shallow dish.
Cut the cod loin into fingers, coat in the batter and then roll in breadcrumbs.
When all the fingers are coated in batter and breadcrumbs heat the oil in frying pan and fry the fish fingers until golden then transfer to a baking sheet and place in the over for 15-20 minutes on gas mark 6.
