One snowy morning while I was watching TV, my mom came in and asked me to write down my Christmas List. Before she could even bring me a piece of paper I screamed, "MOM I WANT A PONY!"

The look on my mothers face was very confused. She asked, "Mazie, What will you do with a pony?" I simply explained, it would be the best Christmas ever if I got a pony. After my mom left the room she never talked about me wanting a pony again.

As time went on I started thinking I was never going to get a pony for Christmas. For the weeks to come I just sat inside and played with my toys.

For the next couple of weeks, I watched my dad build something mysterious in the yard. I could not figure it out. He had stacks and stacks of wood.

After seeing what my dad was building I tried to imagine what it could be everyday. I stayed inside wondering what it could be. Finally I asked my mom. "Mom what is dad working on?" She explained, "It is a surprise for Christmas you will just have to wait."
