This is Bob. Bob is a wonderfully happy duck. He lives on the banks of Blah Blah River and spends the days quacking about.

Bob has two friends: a fish named Freddie and an octopus named Squash. The three of them spend a lot of time together but it can sometimes be a challenge for Bob. Why? Well, the answer is simple.

Bob can only stay under the water for about 1 minute. Freddie can only stay above water for about 10 seconds and Squash can't leave the water at all.

This has always been a big challenge for their relationship.

One day, they were all swimming near a big waterfall and trying to talk. Bob said they should go back because the waterfall was dangerous, but Freddie and Squash disagreed.

"Look! I can get really close to the waterfall!" yelled Freddie.

"That's nothing, I can go much farther," said Squash.
