Dedicated towards: Our first grade students.

It was Christmas Eve morning. The elves had all the presents made and everything was perfect. The reindeer were ready and Santa was jolly as ever. As the day went on, everyone was anxious but ready to go.

Finally, the sleigh was packed and everything was ready. They checked the weather one more time, it will be perfect weather! So he started the sleighs engine and they set off. He was going on his usual route, start by going to Australia, then Europe and all that area.

Then after going through all that area they headed to the United States. Santa looked into the sky, he saw many dark stormy clouds... "wait a minute! there was not supposed to be any bad weather tonight," Santa exclaimed. He started to speed the sleigh up, Santa was going to try and beat the storm.

He was almost done with all of the houses when suddenly there was a loud sound "BOOM CRACK". It was lightning and it has hit Santa's sleigh! All of the reindeer, Santa, and the sleigh went plummeting to the ground. Santa said, "this is not good, what will I do?" He then heard somebody moving behind him, he turned around a saw a little boy.

"Hello! my name is Sammy and I already know who you are," said the boy. Santa replied, "well hello there! I was wondering, can you help me with something?" Sammy agreed, so Mr. Claus began to explain what had happened. The little boy thought for a while and then he knew what to do.

"Okay, I have wood hammers, nails, and many other things in my fathers workshop," said the boy. Santa thought that was perfect so they headed into the workshop very quietly to not be heard.
