Griffey was a dog, a golden doodle. One day Griffey's owner, Lilly, realized something was different about him. He was laying around and not wanting to play. Then Lilly asked her mom, "Mommy, why is the dog different today?" Then her mom said, "I don't know, honey." Lilly took the dog to her dad for a check up because he was a vet.

So they went to Lilly's Dad's Shop

Then Lilly said, "Griffey is not feeling good what should we do". Lilly's dad, Jake, said let's test his blood.Then they tested Griffey's blood, he did not like it not at all but, he had to so he did. After they tested Griffy's blood, Jake Lilly's dad said very quietly to Lilly's Mom,"honey Griffy has cancer" Lilly's Mom, Kelly, said "what's cancer?" Then Jake said it's a type of disease and it's a very bad disease. Then Lilly over heard them talking and she was sad and let a tear down her cheek then wiped it quickly off her cheek. She did not want her Parents to know.

At home they ate diner.

Daddy is Griffy going to be ok?

Yes honey.

Jake had to lie to Lilly so she would not know, but it's like she already new because she over heard her dog has cancer.

The next morning Lilly was feeling down about Griffey because she was worrying about him. Jake and Kelly were watching the news. Then Lilly said "mom, dad, I to say... I new this whole time that Griffey had cancer.
