Hi! My name is Rocky. And this is my best friend Stone. I'm here to tell you about where we came from and how we grew up.

See the red stuff coming out of the volcano. That's called magma.

That is where our lives began!

After a while the magma started to cool and me and Stone started looking different.

We started to harden and turned into Igneous rocks.

After changing into this new rock, the worst thing happened to us.

The rain and wind started to break pieces of us off and over time we ended up on the bottom of this waterfall.

We were now considered sediments. And over time more and more sediments kept piling on top of us.

The pressure was insane. We were being squeezed and cemented together.
