I begin every morning by waking up early, gathering the eggs from my Chickens coop, I usually gather 124 eggs, and I head to the Farmers Market to sell my eggs for $5 dollars a dozen. I choose to sell at a low price because the booth next to me sells them for as high as they can, which is $8 a dozen.

When all of my eggs are sold, i head over to the bread booth and buy biscuits to make for dinner.

I get the biscuits for a cheaper deal at $10 for 12 home-made biscuits.because they are a day old.

Sometimes, if i get lucky, I can find a rare spice for the gravy in the booth next to the biscuits however, today i could not purchase the spice because i used all of my money on the biscuits.

Normally I would stop to buy gas on the way home, however, due to the recent oil shortage, gas prices have skyrocketed and today i could afford not buying it because i had a half tank.

I drove by the local cafe again today and saw the waitress' marching around outside holding signs that read "STRIKE" due to unfair minimum wages.

Pulling into my driveway, I see hay bales lined up in front of our barn with a big "Longcore Hay bales business" sign in front of them. When i was young my father came up with the idea to sell farm equipment and supplies, so he and uncle have partnered in selling hay and farm supplies. They say our partnership business is better than any cooperation like Tractor Supply because they get more say in the business decisions and we have free enterprise. My father could not handle a sole proprietorship so that is how my uncle got involved.

My first chore when i get home is to go rake free-stalls with my grandpa. We normally talk about how much the economy has changed since he was a teenager. When he was young he would get paid with commodity money unlike today where we get paid fiat money. he got things like cans of food, but occasionally he was paid with ears of corn because canned food cost too much due to inflation.

My next chore is feeding calves along with people who are underemployed and working for us because they were previously unemployed and needed a job. In today's world, poverty is an issue due to unemployment and my dad is striving to help those in poverty.
