Dedicated to my Daughter, Hannah and Son, Wyatt

Once Upon a Time on a beautiful ranch, lived a herd of horses.
One sunny day, a little foal was born. She was black as night with a bright white stripe down her face. Her name was little Spirit.
Little Spirit loved to play, jump, run and frollick next to her mother in their pen.
Goliath was the king of the horses. He would make sure all the other horses were safe. He was strong and fast. Little Spirit watched him run in the pasture.
One day she asked her mother, if she would grow big and strong like Goliath. She said, "One day Spirit, one day."
Spirit asked her aunts, will I grow stripes like my friend the zebra?
They laughed at her and said "No, Little Spirit, No. Stripes are for Zebras, not horses."
The curious Little Spirit asked again, will I have spots like my friend the fawn?"
