Once upon a time there was a boy who had no friends. His name was Brock. When he went to the park no one wanted to play with him. Brock was sad. Some bully picked on him. The bully's name was Jack. That made Brock upset.

Ding dong, ding dong.

Brock went home really upset because he had no one to play with him. His mother was cooking dinner and his dad was at work.  They could not play with him either.  The doorbell rang and he went to the door.

It was his friend James.  "Why are you sad?" asked James. "No one wants to play with me" said Brock. "I will play with you!" said James.  They played together the whole afternoon.

The next morning Brock told his mom he was sick.

He wasn't really sick though.  He just didn't want to go to school because he was being bullied.  

Brock's mom told him that he could stay home from school for the day. Brock's mom called the school and told them he was sick.
