Once upon a time there were three crabs -- red crab, blue crab, and hermit crab. Here they are in this picture. This is the story of how they tried to play volleyball. 

Our story starts with the three crabs walking up the beach just living that sweet crab life. Then suddenly red crab had an idea, a wild and crazy idea... 

Hey gang, I have a wild and crazy idea! Let's all go play volleyball.

What's volleyball?

I have to second hermit crab's question. What is volleyball? I mean, I'm all for it, but I'd still like to know more. 

You know -- volleyball. With the net and the ball and all those people who gather to play every weekend.

Seems like another one of red crab's wacky adventures. You two can count me out. I'm going to take one of my patented Saturday morning naps. I'll see you for a dignified dinner back down on the quiet side of the beach. 

Red crab and blue crab knew hermit crab wouldn't stick around long. Hermit crab did adore those Saturday naps. But they were determined to enjoy themselves so they walked on down the beach toward the volleyball area. 

And the friends walked on...

...and on...

...and on...

...until...

They arrived at the volleyball area!!!

Absolutely, can I just get a look at your registration form?

What is a registration form? As you can see, I am just a red crab. What you see is what you get. I don't have forms of any kind.

I'm so sorry. But all of our volleyball courts are reserved for the tournament today. And to be part of the tournament you need your registration form filled out and one $35 entry fee per two-person team.
