It was Christmas Eve, and Santa Claus was very busy. However, Santa's son, Timothy, and Santa's dog, Sugarplum, were having a lot of fun at Claus Lake.

Timothy and Sugarplum were running all around the lake. They played catch and then started to play hide-and-seek.

First, Sugarplum was going to hide. Timothy started counting to 100.

When Timothy got done counting, he started to look for Sugarplum. He couldn't find Sugarplum anywhere!

Where is she?

Timothy looked all around the lake, in the trees, and even underneath the snow.

He decided that he was going to need some help if he wanted to find Sugarplum. So, he started to walk over to Mrs. Claus' kitchen.

When he got there, Timothy knocked on the kitchen door. He asked,"Can I come in or are you too busy?" "You can come in," answered Mrs. Claus happily.

Timothy opened the door and walked in. Mrs. Claus smiled,"Hello Timothy, what do you need?"

Timothy answered,"Well, Sugarplum and I were playing hide-and-seek and Sugarplum hid first. I started looking for Sugarplum, and now I can't find him." Mrs. Claus smiled,"We'll find him." So they set off to go find Sugarplum.
