Dedicated to Drake, not the rapper, but my leopard Gecko. You the dankest, Drake my boi.

Why do we drink eggnog during the holiday season? We all love it, that's for sure but who got the idea to make such a great concoction and to drink it only during the winter months? It all started in the 1700's in England of course. Aristocrats would drink the concoction with dairy, cinnamon, nutmeg, and rum because they were rich and they could. Later the colonists of America drank their grog (rum) in their noggins (small wooden mugs) it was called egg-n-grog, which eventually turned to eggnog. The reason it became a tradition is because it was expensive and was only drunken in the winter months. Rich people loved it! So, why do traditions catch on? Read the story and you can see!
One day Tim and Jim were visiting Europe. It was Christmas time and everything was all festive. The decided to go to a restaurant.
"Let's go to this one," Jim said. "Looks festive enough."
When they got inside, they ordered their food and sat down.
"Would you like any eggnog with that?" the waiter asked.
Jim and Tim had never heard of eggnog. The waiter told them that it was a good drink that the rich people used to drink in the winter. Apparently, it was really good.
This was really good stuff! Tim and Jim thought that they should share this with their friends.
Shortly afterward, they came home and found a store that sold eggnog.
