This is the story of when I was pregnant with you. Month by month I would notice changes within you. But I could only wonder what you would look like. Throughout this journey I had went through ups and downs.
Let's begin the journey...

Fertilization is when an egg is released from the ovary. Travels through the fallopian tube and into the uterus. Conception happens in the fallopian tube and is when an egg is fertilized by one sperm.
Before Birth
First is the Menstrual Phase; from 1-5 days, this is the actual shedding of the uterine lining. Afterwards is the Postmenstrual phase; from 6-9 days, this is the resting stage and the egg begins to mature. Next comes the Ovulation; from 10-14 days, when the matured egg breaks from the ovary sac and leaves the ovary. Finally is the Premenstrual Phase; from 15-28 days, the uterus continues to thicken.
First Month
Once I had found out that I was pregnant with you I realized that I had to change my intakes. For and example, I was not able to have as much caffeine but I also had to eat 500 more calories a day. I found out when I had missed my period and my breasts suddenly grew (1st Trimester). I took a pregnancy test, testing my HCG, and it came back positive.
You were 1/2 inch long. Your head, mouth, and intestines all begun to form. And your heart had begun to beat.
Second Month
You were now 1 inch long. Your veins and vital organs were developed as well as your slightly webbed fingers. My placenta had begun nourishing you too. I was so worried of what could go wrong during a pregnancy, like what if I feel, my blood pressure goes high, I have my period? Luckily, nothing went wrong.
Third Month
At this point you now were 2 1/2 inches long. Now you were beginning to function. You had begun kicking and your arms, legs, hands and fingers were all fully developed. Now your nails were starting to grow.
Fourth Month
My skin had felt more dry and I had many mood swings, I would either be angry or sad (2nd Trimester). You were now 6-7 inches long. The outline of your face was visible and your heartbeat was heard clearly. At this time, I was able to feel your first kick, it didn't hurt as bad as I thought.
