Jamie got to school and ran into the classroom. She put her backpack in her cubby and pulled out her crayons. Then, she sat down at a table where two other girls sat.
The teacher came into the room and said, “Good morning class! Welcome to school! Today you are going to colour a page with your name on it! Get out your crayons!"

Jamie was very happy to start colouring with her new crayons. She opened her box and took out her favourite colour, purple.

“Do not forget to share your crayons!” the teacher said.

Jamie did not want to share her crayons. She wanted to keep her crayons for herself.
There was a girl who’s name was Leah that sat beside Jamie. Leah did not have any crayons. She hoped that Jamie would share with her

So, Leah said to Jamie, “Hi! My name is Leah. Can you share your crayons with me, please?”
Jamie was mad. She did not want Leah to use her crayons.
“No,” Jamie said, “you can not use my crayons.”

Leah was sad. She really wanted to use one of Jamie’s crayons.
