Day 1 221 C.E.

I really do not wanna go anywhere. I just wanna stay here at home. There diseases are going around and I really do not wanna die. I think it's called pox small or small pox, I'm not really sure. I've heard different names for the diseases, like measles and bubonic plague. I really don't care what it is called. I just don't want me or my family to get sick and die.

God , I haven't touched this book for forty days. Life has just been so hard lately. I saw that the last time I wrote, I wrote about how people were dying because of the diseases. Well, a lot of our population died. This caused the economy to decline, and harmed me and my family a lot. I had to sell all of my land to wealthy people since I was about to be broke. Well at least it wasn't forty days again. I have actually been quite happy. We have a new emperor, his name is Wan Ming. He is making my life so much easier. He is trying to make this empire equal with the wealthy and non-wealthy. The wealthy don't like this because they are losing land but they need to think about us that don't have anymore land. They are trying to over throw him.
